December Update

Hey guys!

In reality, I've not been very inspired or motivated these last weeks. But just the other day, my motivation came back! And as a reward for sticking with me, I'll be posting as much as I possibly can for the rest of the year! If not every day, then at least every second day!

So what's new?

I've bought a bullet journal!
I'm looking for some black markers that don't bleed through the paper.
I'd never thought that I would buy a bullet journal until I decided to, so all of my (colored) markers and highlighters are home in Denmark... However, I'm going home on Friday, so I don't have to wait long until I can spice up the pages! Even though, I've already set up most of my 'December pages' (I bought the bullet journal last weekend, so I haven't had a chance to set it up in advance) it would have been nice to have had the markers by my side instead of having just coloring-, pencils and a black marker that bleeds...
The pages are still pretty tho!! I'm planning on doing some bullet journal videoes for my YouTube channel. So if you want to get inspiration, then I'll be uploading the first one at the end of December/the start of January.

The day that I bought my bullet journal, I also bought all of the Christmas presents that I'm giving out. I hadn't planned what I was going to give anyone at all... I had no idea what to give others!! It was all a coincidence when I walked into a store and then BAMM! In that moment, I knew what I was giving and to whom!

Since the last post, I've finished watching the tv series 'Good Morning Call'. It only took me a week to watch from start to finish even though it has 2 seasons (so far), 27 episodes in total. It's a Netflix Original, but if you have the chance, I would definitely recommend watching it!
In the start, the characters might seem a bit weird.. but as you get used to them, it's amazing!
I've laughed and cried (as usual, I cry over everything!) when watching that series haha it's just so good!

Cozy Christmas Essentials

There's only a little over one week till Christmas!!! Are you excited? cause I am!

How I Spend My Birthday Alone In England

Hey guys!

I turned 19 yesterday!! 🎉 🎉 I had a really nice day for myself. Since I'm currently working as an au pair in England, I couldn't spend the day with my family 😕 But it was alright - it's wasn't the first time that I wasn't with my family on my birthday (If you go wayyyy back on my blog, you'll know that I spend 3 months in Spain as an exchange student around when I turned 14 y/old)

Otherwise, I spend all of yesterday mostly by myself.

I kickstarted my day by having video calls with my family back home in Denmark.
It was really nice talking to them!

Then I opened (some of) my birthday presents; a sketch pad and professional drawing pencils and coloring pencils. (Some of - bc I'll get the rest and "the real one" as my mom describes it when I come home for Christmas)

The family, I'm staying with in England had told me I could sleep in, so I decided to watch a Christmas movie called "Happy Christmas" - that turned out to be kinda weird and not really Christmassy..

I then went down for breakfast - got a nice bowl of chocolate knock-off cheerios and then completed all of my "morning chores" around the house.

I only had the slightest ideas of how I wanted to spend my birthday. I knew I wanted to do some water coloring and play some Sims 4 (none of which I actually did) but other than that I had no idea.

I decided to go to the cinema and watch "Battle Of The Sex" and it turned out to be a really good movie! I would definitely recommend watching it!

When I got home I drew a little, had dinner (and a yummy chocolate cake for dessert) and I completed my final online course in photography (that I've been taking the last 4 weeks). After that, I watched the Masterchef Professionals episode of the day with my English family and then went to bed at about 21:15.. Or, Well, I watched two episodes of Zumbo's Just Desserts before falling asleep..


All in all, I had a pretty good day even though I spend most of it alone.
I don't think it's a bad thing to spend your birthday alone at all! You can do whatever you want! - but still.. I would have liked to spend it with my family.

Christmas & Birthday Wish List

It's that time of the year once again. My birthday is on wednesday (the 6th) and christmas is just around the corner!! So ofc I'm gonna share my wish list with you! You know, for inspirational purposes.

This is just a part of my wish list.. I do wish for e.x. more trousers and caps but I didn't want to overwhelm you with stuff!

You might think, "omg how much does she want?", but the way we do it in my family is that we write one general wish list and pass it out to everyone in our family. That way it will be a surprise what others give us and who gives what!

A new thing on the list i the iBand+. It's basically a headband you sleep with and it will help you to dream lucid dreams. You know, dreams where you're aware that you're dreaming..

Pretty cool right?!

Tho, the company moved the release date from December 2017 to June 2018... Bummer!..

I'm still wishing for a record player (or a turntable), but this year I've researched the market a bit more and now know that it shouldn't just be any cheap record player, if I want my vinyls to last for a long time. So if you're also wishing for a record player, or looking to buy one, I would really suggest you to look up reviews and articles before choosing!

Not long ago, it was very hard for me to discover new online shops or just shops in general.

I didn't know where to look or what to search for, and almost every mall has all of the same shops.

Style #1 - Rose Knit

I've found a new online store that I really love! I also used it for some of the products for my November Wants, so if you've clicked the product links on that post, you may have seen it before.

The store is called 'He' (heofficial.com) and they recently got new items. One of them is this gorgeous rose knit that I decided to make an outfit out of - and here it is. (and my first outfit post!!!)

Also, when I was looking for some shoes to go with the outfit, I saw these boots from Skechers. I don't know why but I actually kinda like them. I've always hated boots similar to that style but something just clicks between me and that boot.. hahah idk, but enjoy!

November Update

Hey guys!

I really want to make this blog as personal as possible, and that's why I've decided to do monthly updates! Updates about my life and what I'm doing to make the days go by, share ideas for blog posts, and maybe even blog post series.

I really want you to feel like I put myself and my persona into this blog and not just interests such as style, art, and cooking. I want to post at least one or two blog posts a week. The monthly updates won't affect the usual posts since they're not "counted as" posts - just extras ;)

So what is going on in my life at the moment? Well.. I'm good. Taking one day at a time. I feel like the days goes by so fast here in England. I feel like there's not enough time to do much in one day.. Tho, I do get stuff done - no worries.

Right now I'm kinda just pacing around, waiting for twenty one pilots to release a new album, which is hopefully soon! And I'm IN LOVE with the new tøp merch Hot Topic has released!!

Also, I'm taking an online photography course. So far I've learned a lot! I'm looking forward not to use the preset settings anymore. No more over- and underexposed photos!

The Christmas mood is slowly coming on to me. I can only listen to kinda low-key Christmas music at the moment, like Michael Bublé and Justin Bieber's Christmas albums.

Mariah Carey has to wait a little bit longer...

This Year Will Be Different... (for real)

Hey guys

It has been a while!

Since last time, I've finally graduated high school. It feels good to be free! No more assignments, teachers etc. Well so far.. I still have no idea what I want to do and therefore I haven't applied to university this year.

Instead I've flown to England, where I'm currently working as an au pair. Since I have quite an amount of spare time now, where I don't have to do homework or boring assignments, I have much more free hands on how I want my days to go. So I figured that this year would be the perfect time for me to pick up my blog and Youtube hobbies again!

I don't want this post to be suuuper long, so I'm gonna keep it short.

I just wanted to tell you that I'm back and finally going to keep the posts and uploads coming! (and this time for good.)
